I’ve tried to cover as many different styles and examples as I could but there’s always so much more we could include. If you have a set or idea you especially love, we’d love to see it. And (in total honesty) I know most of these shows but some are new to me and I’ve had to include them because the art style is so impressive.
It’s hard to miss the Attack of Titan art style. Such utterly fantastic detail on this set.We couldn’t go far into the list without some Studio Ghibli nail art, could we?A fantastic-looking set from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Loads of stunning detail and I love this colorway.Shin-chan ! ? “All I’ve been doing is watching you two from behind… Now, get a good look at MY back!” ? A Sakura-style Naruto nail art design. I love it. I need this in my life.A minimalist Dragonball nail art set.This incredibly cute No-Face set is incredibly unique and too cute. There are so many styles of this that I’d completely fall in love with I feel like I could fill the entire list with Ghibli variations. I promise I won’t.And some fantastic Sailor Moon nails for good measure.Another set of Sailor Moon nails. The incredibly vivid colorway and simple lines combine for this fantastic end result.Anime Girls Don’t Cry ❤️ Long Coffin Gel XtensionsThis was painted freehand? Damn.I generally have a rule where I try to stick to nail sets that have been fixed in place but some of these are just too cute not to include. These Shinichi Kudo nails just hit the style so well.You can’t be surprised that we have some Pokemon nails on the list. The starters on the index finger just does it for me.How are so many of these designs handpainted? I think it’s time for another trip to Japan just so that I can spend some time with their nail techs. Such a cool style and Japanese nail art are so incredibly detailed.The little gold and white hearts really set these nails apart.I don’t recognize the show (if someone does I’d love to know in the comments) but the design here is fab. The contrast of the white and the dark red.Another Jujutsu Kaisen set. It’s not often we see a full Chibi character on a single nail (and I can understand why) but the end result is just fantastic for this set.I cover a lot of different nail art designs but there’s something about anime nails that always go to the next level for style and detail. This is some true nail art.I love some asymmetry in a nail set and the contrast between the black and white to the vivid colors? Fantastic.Anime nails don’t need to be styled on a specific show or character. Matching the style of a theme or your own character can be another way to go. The colorway matches so well and the little hearts vibe between them tie it together.Another Attack of Titan set. I know I said I’d try and vary it up as much as possible but these long acrylics are just so incredible looking. The art style of the anime just tells a story in an expression.Grell & Sebastian from Black Butler on these gels. I really like the colorway and it makes the vivid hair color really stand out.Vivid and holy crap level of detail on this set. There’s something about My Hero Academia nail art that seems to always be vibrant and detailed. There’s something about the fandom that just loves the art style.I really like the single-character style mixed with the writing. It’s a cool mix of incredible detail and minimalism.I’m a sucker for deep purple nails anyway so this one is an easy win for me. The incredibly unique style is a complete bonus.Yes, these are HAND-PAINTED! Let’s not talk about how long these took ? Attack on Titan nails with gel polish.Press on nails from Full Metal Alchemist ??Is it possible to do Sailor Moon nails without looking super cute?The detail on these Evangelion nails is to die for. We highlight a lot of great nail artists every day but I think this list must take the prize for the sheer level of detail gone into such a small space.Team Rocket ? I think I’ve done a pretty good job at not filling the entire list with Pokemon but can you blame me for this one??✨Lunar New Year-inspired zodiac nails. Such cute artwork? Hamtaro ? Hamtaro is a very cute anime centered around a group of pet hamsters getting together and going on adventures. As nail art you get this cute little group set against glittery gold.I’m not sure I can handle the cuteness of these eyes.Such incredible detail. I love the simple black and white it looks like a sketch.That’s not to say two different tones doesn’t work either.Attack on Titan again but come on! I can’t help myself. The colorway, the detail and the mix between each finger. I can’t get enough.A Twisted Wonderland set. Hand-painted of course. I’ve got some severe nail tech envy right now.Death Note nails. How did I not include this sooner? The Shinigami detail is just something else. The show’s name is impressive enough itself. Usually, when people try and fit that much writing into nails this small it takes too much effort to read but… damn. Some handpainted Demon Slayer nails. I love the asymmetry between hands and the single cloud nail design in the lighter colorway really stands out.You didn’t think I’d forget One Piece, did you? I think it really works with this pale pink background.I know, I know. Attack on Titan again. But technically it’s a unique take so I don’t think it should count against me. The idea of solid colors on every other nail and a character (from any show) on a single nail creates this great look.Fullmetal Alchemist set. Such a cute little style and the perfect acrylics that make the design pop without taking focus. Dogs and anime nails, who can resist?Kon from Bleach. I’m not trying to take away from the style and skill in this one but if you’re trying to do these yourself a character like this with some simpler lines would be easier than (for example) an Attack on Titan face.Another asymmetrical Dragonball Z set. I love the sparkly orange nails to match.This is a pawsome nail set. A mix of stunning detail and simple lines.Genshin Impact theme. ?Black and white Dragonball Z nails. Here’s a sentence I never thought I’d say. I’m loving this Naruto and Hello Kitty nail set.The blood splatter nail art on the index finger is maybe a little too dark for my taste but I can’t argue with the style of the set.A little bit of glitter going a long way with this unique look.Another set of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba nails with some intricate detail.The colorway is just perfect.I love the mostly white and black Naruto vibe to this set. It really makes the red stand out.I can’t say I’ve ever seen Sailor Moon mixed with Flinstones and Scooby-Doo before. It’s a unique look, I’ll give it that.Is my love for black and white nail art coming through too much?
