Whether you’re looking to add a playful touch to your nails or want to emulate the beauty of nature, bee nail designs are a fun and unique option. There are many different ways to create a bee-inspired look, so you can tailor the design to your own style. Check out these ideas for inspiration!
The most common color theme here is going to be black and yellow but I’ve tried to find a range of styles to give you inspiration or, if you find something you really like, copy for yourself.
Starting with this intricate and fantastic example. A different bee design on each nail with some real detail. I love the turquoise shade behind the pink flower.
These gels stick to a much more common bright yellow background and feature a little bee on one hand and some honey on the other. The detail into the bee is going to take some work but it does look fantastic.
This mani is mostly gel (except the bee and the black stripes). The dripping honey and honeycomb pattern look great and the little bee goes to show you don’t need a whole lot of detail here. A simple design can go a long way too. The yellow here is a little closer to gold with a bit of a shine to it as well.
Some black and nude nails with a little bee design. Again, that dripping honey look looks great and if you like that style, check out the list of drip nail designs .
I really wanted this one on the cute light blue nails list but it does suit this list better. A minimalist bumblebee flight pattern with black dots just pushes this over the top when the cute little bee against the clear sky tone blue would have done it for me.
The dotted flight pattern again here on these transparent and gold gel nails.
The heart shape within the honeycomb here is so unique and the the floral pattern is so intricate and still keeps up with the bee theme.
The honey drip style on matte white with a golden bee on these acrlics.
You don’t need to keep the theme going on every single nail. Sometimes less is more and the detail on the index finger is more than enough here.
A single little bee on transparent nails. It looks pretty realistic actually. I just hope nobody tries to swat your thumb (not that we should be swatting them)!
This one stands out to me. This set is otherwise a pretty ‘normal’ sombre color. It might have been for save the bees day or something similar.
These are bees with attitude.
Larger golden bumblebee charms on these nails with some flake design on the other fingers.
A different take on the design, this set has the same color style but doesn’t feature the insect itself.
Again, we have the charm here instead of it being on polish.
Tiny little bees on bright blue nails on these short gels. Fantastic.
Tiny little floral design in matte white against little golden bees. Minimalist but cute as heck.
We’ve had a few honey drip designs but nothing as realistic and thick-looking as this set. Definite honey and floral vibe.
An entry for National World Honeybee Day. This one is very overtly a bee nail design with cute little eyes and I like the little polkadots.
Another World Honeybee Day entry. Golden this time and I like the little honeycomb design.
The floral design here is incredible. Look at the detail on these! Plus the white flower matches the french tips so well.
Or a big bee on each finger?
I’m a sucker for the matte white background and I do like yellow nails. Add a little bee nail art and… I want these.
A couple of different styles here.
Gel nails with the little flight pattern matching up in the middle. The little flower on the pinky sets it off nicely.
Hand painted gels. Combining the honeycomb design with the dripping honey.
These shellac nails have a little bee design and a whole lot of style. I really like the flowery pattern.
A little hint of dripping honey on these matte white nails. Looks fantastic.
A bit more of a spring and inspect vibe here but the little gold specs also look like a honeycomb style.
Some incredible bumblebee crystal alloy nail decorations stuck to a honey style.
Handpainted with cute eyes and a light french tip.
Coffin acrylics with a flower and a little bee with a mix of other designs.
I really like the sunflower polish on transparent nails here. The dripping honey looks even better.
The flight pattern alone on the thumb is unique – as is the beehive. Fantastic ideas!
Maybe one of the most detailed bee nails on the list. Carrying the little honey pot is just icing on the cake.
There’s nail art and there’s just this entire work of art. The honey style background is stunning looking.
What really sets out the honeycomb with the little gems is the rhinestones on the next nail. I love everything about this.
If you don’t like the black or yellow background, some light blue can look like the sky. Plus they just look cute.
A glittery yellow/gold background with some stunning detail to these flowers.
These cute nails feature an entire hive and the gold against turquoise works.
We’ve seen smaller versions of this so far but this bumblebee fur style looks stylish even if it wasn’t in the bee colorway.
A splash of yellow on white. The little dots are a minimalist version of the honeycomb design.
The detail on the thumb is fantastic here. The flightpath in yellow this time instead of black.
A unique take here, it looks like a trail of honey on the ring finger.
A unique spring design.
Oh the little clouds!
This is a combination of everything I like with this list. The gold against matte black and some cute little flowers. The level of detail on the bee against a white background is just perfect.
That blue flower charm matches the little bee! Fab.
