If you’re looking for some nail art inspiration that celebrates LGBTQ pride, look no further! Whether you’re looking for something simple or more elaborate, there’s sure to be a design here that’s perfect for you. I’ve tried to cover a range of design ideas from the simple and every day to the weird and wild.
Starting out nice and simple. I’m always a fan of bright vivid colors on a nail design and if it just happens to be the pride flag colors then it’s a happy bonus! A lot of other designs will blend these colors and match them together on the same nail but this is, perhaps, the easiest design to do and it still looks fantastic.
Did you know that every color on the Gay pride flag represents something? ❤️ = Life ? = Healing ? = Sun ? = Nature ? = Harmony ? = Spirit Originally there was also a pink stripe at the top which represented sexuality but it was removed because the pink cloth wasn’t able to be mass-produced. ??
? Rainbow French jelly tips. I like the transparent colors and, again, if you go with the pride colors it doesn’t need a detailed nail tech or much time to do!
Alright, so this pride nail design is going to take a little more effort but look at how fantastic it looks. You’ll need a steady hand but I’m getting a definite disco kind of vibe from this set.
I’ve only just finished my smiley face nail designs list and I’ve always been a fan of the minimalist line nail art too. This is a good example of how versatile your nail design can be. Add a bit of a wavy Pride flag to a single nail and you have this fantastic set that makes a statement. It doesn’t have to be on every nail.
Rainbow French tips. I love this. ✨
This set gives me some definite My Little Pony vibes but with a little bit of glitter and some Pride colors you have a unique style and a fun set of nails.
❤️Love in colors?️? Similar idea to the first set but if you leave a slight dip on some thicker french tips you get these little hearts <3. This might be my favorite so far.
If this rainbow Pride nail design with the little hearts wasn’t cute enough – the polish is even glow in the dark!
Rainbow french with contrasting hearts ❤️
Possibly the most common LGBT nail design I’ve come across is this horizontal Ombre style. Taking the colors from left to right and adding a little glittery polish on top is just the cherry on the cake.
The only thing I like more than the colorway of this set and the little heart tattoo to match… is the cuff of that jumper. It looks comfy.
??️? ???? ?? ???? ?️?? ?This set doesn’t match the traditional Pride nail colorway but I thought this was a nice message. Love is love. A heart is a heart. You could even do this fantastic style with the Pride colorway.
A more minimalist take on Pride nail art. A couple of nude nails with these funky drip nail tips.
Some pansexual Pride with this set and this time we’re going with the vertical strips but that glittery finish is hard to pass up.
Nude with a hint of PRIDE ?️? I really like the way these look.
I’m a sucker for a combination of styles in nail art and we’re just about to come out with our Disney nail list so the mix of Pride and Mickey Mouse is already a winner in my book but if you look at those pinkies we have the Pride colors as well.
?? ???? ❤️?⛅️ The bright vivid colorway on the matte black makes these nails really pop. Fantastic style and a great work of art on this set.
Rainbow French tips! Personal taste but I think these might be the best so far. I love the minimalist colorful tips without the need for a matte nude polish.
A less traditional colorway and some very funky styles on this set.
Quirky rainbow design on this set.
Ok. Damn. Holographic nail polish blended into this fantastic-looking rainbow Ombre nails.
I have a soft spot for nail art with a matte white background and the rainbow drips with the little heart just win it for me. I love the asymmetry, the colorway… I just love this set. I need this nail art in my life.
A slightly similar look with these longer acrylics. I don’t often see a V-French tip matched with full-color nails like this.
Acrylic extensions with rainbow, gel-polish ombré and Sparkle Top Coat ❤️ The yellow and orange nail just wins me over with this set.
Super cute thin French tips with the Pride colors.
This is a super unique take. That stripe on the index finger going along the middle of the nail is not something you see often but the little heart on the middle finger is just to die for. <3
If you like some darker nails you can add a splash of Pride on top.
The Pride flag in this cool looking marble style.
Rainbow sparkles just do it for me ?❤️.
If you can’t decide on a single design – why bother? Do them all!
I don’t often show sets that aren’t actually on fingers but this idea is just too cute to ignore!
Another marble take on Pride nail art. I really like the asymatry here with the odd number of ‘plain’ nails.
The writing and little hearts really works for me here.
It’s time to get creative! You can do a rainbow manicure, or you could try your hand at the nail art equivalent of a French braid, which is not unlike an ombre manicure. The possibilities are endless for this type of nail design because it all depends on what inspires you and reflects who you are. If being extravagant isn’t really your thing, there’s always pink glitter polish with some subtle designs underneath, like stripes or dots. There’s no need to feel limited by any one style when it comes to Pride nails! Show off what makes YOU proud in a way that best fits YOUR personality and preference and have a little fun with it!
I do hope this has given you some ideas for Pride nails If you give this a go – I want to see it! Send me a photo of your Pride nail designs and we’ll feature them here.
