This list of royal blue ombre nail designs might give you some great ideas for your own nails. Relatively easy to do, ombre nails can look fantastic and a little royal blue is a bold choice that can make you really stand out from the crowd.
If royal blue is your color, you should
absolutely consider trying this style out for yourself. If you’re not married to the royal blue shade we have a broader list of blue ombre nails covering different shades. I love this deep, royal shade but I have to admit the lighter ones look fantastic too.
I love the style of these blue ombre nails. A little long but they look juicy with those big square edges and a deep royal shade of royal blue.
Maybe one of the more common examples of this style (and maybe for good reason) this white and blue ombre style really works especially when you fade between the two colors properly like this.
You don’t need to use the same style on every finger. Personally, I like asymmetry on nail designs.
The length of your nails (and personal preference) dictates how much royal blue you want to use and I really like this length and liberal use of blue.
Lovely use of royal blue on this ombre stiletto tips with some lovely pearls diagonally across the nail.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, some of these are closer to French Tips. This also really works.
I’ll admit it. I’m a sucker for a transparent nail with butterflies and I really like how it looks in royal blue alongside some ombre blues. I also like the fade from white here.
A couple of solid royal blue nails with two ombre nails and a little glitter on them too? I love it.
With an almost square tip finish here (slightly rounded) and some tiny dots and shading in the middle, this would look good in any color but the royal blue is a really nice effect here.
This style is a little different but it was just too cute to miss out. Starting with a deep royal blue these nails fade to white getting lighter with each finger.
We usually see this cloud nail art look on lighter shades of blue but now that I see it against royal blue… this might be better. The contrast really makes this cute design pop.
If the ombre style wasn’t enough for you – add some marble style in there for good measure.
Or a few gems? The deep royal look says luxury but so do a few sparkly stones in your manicure. Great combination!
Natural to blue ombre nails are par for the course so far for this list but then we have this fantastic accent nail on the ring finger. The stones themselves are royal blue against the same natural bed. Perfect.
If we’re talking about accent nails we really need to talk about this set. Transparent middle nails but the butterfly foils match the royal blue colorway. I need more of this in my life. 💙
A similar look but with a single accent nail and the foil colors are a little more varied.
Alright, so this one might technically break the rules since we have some lighter shades of blue before we go royal but… I mean… I think we should count this one. It’s just too good and that spread butterfly design is perfect.
You weren’t expecting that were you? Just when you think I’ll zig… I will! Just to keep you on your toes with this reverse ombre.
These long acrylics have a transparent matte look but if you look closely, the ombre style gets longer as you go. Super unique and a great idea.
If these tri-colored ombrés take a little more effort but they’re completely worth it. Look at that end result. 🥶
Longer acrylics with a tiny little stone at the moon of the nail to really stand it apart. If you’re going to do this you don’t need to match the polish to the stone but it really does work.
These might be my favorites on the entire list. Rather than going from a natural base, we’re going from black to royal blue giving us this atmospheric look. Fantastic.
Ok so some of this shade might be a little too light but I couldn’t not include it. You could do a similar design with a darker vibe if you really wanted. Better yet, you could do it for my nails.
Another set with different levels of ombre on each nail. I don’t know how I haven’t seen this design more often but it’s really giving me some ideas.
Who says you can’t do an Ombre style with glittery polish? How have we not had more of this look?
Or take it a bit longer and a more subtle ombre vibe with the glitter.
I’m really feeling this black and royal blue colorway. With the subtle speckle it’s giving me a night sky vibe but even without that it just says sleek style.
And if you can’t pick from any of the designs so far? I guess you don’t need to. Throw a little bit of everything together and have this glitter, swirl and bedazzled masterpiece.
I’m loving this lux royal blue ombre look. Whether you find some inspiration here or come up with something unique, I want to see it. I
need to see it. I need more of this in my life. If you want something a little more subtle (or if you don’t see something you like) you could also check out the beige ombre nails inspiration list.
