Mountain peak nail designs have a smooth wide base, soft curved edges and a narrower but rounded tip. This unique shape gives you a lot of space for creative designs while keeping the sleek (and durable) size of shorter nails. I’m here for it. They can add some elegance to any outfit or event and (bonus!) they’re pretty easy to do and maintain.
The mountain peak is the shape and style of the nail. As for the design, you can do whatever you want with this look (we do have mountain nail art if you want the peak of a mountain on your fingertips), but we’ve gone through thousands of different designs to show you some of our favorites from talented nail artists. We’ve got a little bit of everything, from classic white to bold designs and vivid colorways.
Reaching new heights with these mountain peak nails!
Classic black polish in a glossy finish… this is how you rock elegance. I love the design on the ring fingernail; I wonder what its inspiration is.
You need to use acrylic powder if you want to achieve this look. Of course, you can use a different color, but lilac is lovely with those stickers.
Gothic style clashed with the colors of summer. If you think that’s weird, think again. As you can see from this picture, both themes are compatible.
Holographic nails in gold color are gorgeous. I won’t deny that. But for this set, my vote goes to the handpainted vine nails and marble orange base.
Mountain peak nails look fantastic, even if they are short. You can imitate these nails if you are in DIY mode. They are really charming.
These are too beautiful not to notice. And I am still in awe that the design is handpainted. So send some lovin’ to the sun, mountains, and river.
Can you guess the inspiration for these nails? Right, you are! Beach balls! Also, they glow in the dark. Isn’t that awesome? Save it on your list now!
Which one is your favorite? I can’t really choose between gold and black. They are both gorgeous. Oh, and the blue one’s a thermal polish!
Maybe you are a fan of blue and silver; you’ve got yourself a treat with this set. Clearly, you can do it by yourself. No need to go to the salon.
These ones, too, are easy as pie to apply. You just need a purple and periwinkle polish, shiny glitters, and a clear-colored finish.
I am getting moon vibes from this set. The teal-blue polish they used is called “Metal Moon.” Would you like your nails to sparkle, too?
Red glitters and foils, anyone? These are thermal nails, by the way. White for the hot, light blue for the cold, and ombre during the transition.
Such a classic red and gold beauty. I love those paws. These would be the perfect nails for our fur parents out there, but honestly, nails with gold flakes in any design just say luxury chic .
Or maybe you like graffiti nails ? Make use of that wider nail base and soft curves. I love the ‘love’ hand paint and the man and woman design.
If you are looking for a white classic, here’s a treat. Add a bit of gem in the middle of each nail to put some life to it.
Snow-inspired mountain peak nails to satisfy your love for winter. Also, those are lovely leaf designs. But I wonder if they are stickers.
Vintage gold french tips to emphasize the sharpness of your mountain peak nails. Would you like to try them?
How about keeping it simple? Black matte polish and typical gold foils for elegance and sophistication. Black and gold nails have a sophisticated and rich look in any design.
The design looks like a zoomed-in mandala/flower. Would you agree? I like the natural color of the red gradient, too.
I included this set because gray is love. Also, I find those tree branches mysteriously creepy yet beautiful. Peach looks lovely as well.
Oh, now I am sure. The designs are parts of a mandala drawing. I think the red matte would look better on the glossy version, though.
There is some subtle glitter in the polish for this set, but I like how the tips have been highlighted. The soft lines match the curved edges nicely.
I love the shades of yellow, blue, and pink they used. They are bright and appealing. The mandala designs are so cool as well.
Flower power! Pure white is a fantastic base, but black or nude would look good too. Sometimes less is more and I love the empty white nails on the outside. It really makes the flower patterns pop .
Would you like some strawberries and sweets? How about some strawberry nail art ? It’s cute that they look like embossed designs, but these are stickers only. Still, they are lovely!
Unicorn nails , anyone? I can’t get over how beautiful this manicure is. It doesn’t have a design, but the color is already breathtaking.
Here’s something for our DIY girls once again. This black and red combo is outstanding. Use a matte topcoat when it’s done for the final effect.
How about using different colors for the foils? It will look like this… colorfully majestic! Use mountain peak for all the nails if you want.
Something for the purple and royal blue lovers. They are easy to apply, even in DIY mode.
Throw some gold and sparkles on those nails. Of course, you can imitate this and use a nude-colored base, but I think white or black is good.
Or just have a design on the ring fingernail like this one. The lines are handpainted, and they seem easy to draw.
If you love animals, you can try these animal prints. You can use other colors for the base, anything you find interesting.
I laughed hard when I learned that this set was inspired by ketchup and mustard. But they look so delicate and cute, right?
You can try these black french tips to emphasize your mountain peak nails. Likewise, add a few gold flakes and silver glitters for enhancement.
It’s navy blue, not black. Just in case you’re wondering. I like the marble touch on the ring fingernail, making the set less dull.
Have you ever seen a pink diamond? No worries if not, since this set looks like one. Or you can alter it a little and apply the glitters as french tips.
Make your nails look expensive and regal with these gems and crystals. I particularly like the jewel on her middle fingernail.
Another color and design for your french tips thirst. These are almond nails, but I can guarantee that they look good on mountain peaks!
I added this because I am in love with the color gray. Also, because they are matte. But most importantly, I love the marble matte!
Would you like some cherries? White tips on almond nails are totally gorgeous, but so they are on mountain peak nails.
Edgy nails are basically longer forms of mountain peak nails. But the design of this one is so beautiful, so I had to include it.
Teal base with metallic teal glitters and inkblots… what an excellent combination. Is it just me, or do these nails look calm and refreshing?
This is a revamp of the original version, and it totally slays! I love the lace stamps and the dark red to brown ombre. Vampire style!
Now, this is the original version, which I also added because it looks so lovely, in my opinion.
Is this hot pink or fuchsia? The colors are so similar that I get confused. Anyway, those colorful polka dots look so chic and posh!
The black, red, and silver combo is the definition of classic. I so love this entire set!
