Navy blue nails can add a pop of color to your manicure while keeping a subtle elegance. Such a versatile look that can be classic, stylish and go with any kind of outfit.
We went through thousands of designs to find a selection of our favorite. Whether you’re looking for some simple ideas to DIY or some inspiration to show your nail tech, there’s something you’re sure to love.
Similar to the first one, the rest of the nails are predominantly navy blue. We have one highlight nail, however, that stands out. The mix of different shades of blue and the gold foil serves as a nice little touch.
The night sky. If you want something sky-related on your nails but still want to keep it overall simple, here’s a design you can follow.
This one’s incorporating a bit more floral into it. The use of blue flowers is a nice little touch.
If you’re just looking for simple nail polish, I’d recommend this one. The trick to level up the nail polish game is to choose a different shape, this one has an almond shape which is a personal favorite. The polish used here is a bit lighter and cooler and gives off a nice sheen.
This one has a paint splatter effect with a bit of pink and gold. One accent nail is in all blue which further shows the main color in the set.
A mixture of navy blue and black lace. The black lace detailing is quite interesting as it has a mixture of flowers, shapes, and curves.
Here’s a bit of an elevated look, probably something I’d wear to prom or a fancy event. We have ballerina-shaped blue french tips highlighted with a silver curve shine at the bottom.
This set has a bit more of a tropical colorway. We have some a bit of nude and a bit of blue, which is always pleasing to look at. We then have a little floral accent with a white base.
We have a predominantly full blue here. Some nails, however, are a bit different as a thick gold curve serves as a divider between the blue and the clear color.
Here we have a bit of blue and silver. The blue nails have some slanted silver lines painted on top which kind of reminds me of fireworks. The silver nails have a thin black detail that differs per nail.
We have a pretty long coffin set here. The main design of a blue and white almost wave-like combo is absolutely beautiful to look at.
Stepping it up with a blue and gold combo. Look at how beautiful the gold looks floating on top of those clear nails.
Let’s start with some glossy blues. I like how two of the nails have a clear base and is topped off with a light blue design that’s a mix of marble and ocean wave.
Let’s take a look at this set. We have some heart and sparkle doodles on our pure blues. We also have a nude brown and blue combo. My favorite has to be the blue and white almost tie-dye-like nails.
This set is for our round short nail enthusiasts. The blue and gold on top of the base free nail fit perfectly well with the full blue.
A little bit more art and thought went into this piece. We have the basic silver and blue, but we also have the next-level version. The blue’s topped off with a light gold shimmer and some white thin line details. The silver is topped off with a little bit of blue shimmer and some thin white detailing as well. Overall, still a pretty clean look!
The star of the show is clearly the chrome violet-blue-silver. I absolutely love the texture and the nice reflective aspect that it has.
A simple classic navy blue.
We’re back with some long coffins. This one has one long blue powdered shimmer while the rest are clear mattes lines with some more blue powdered shimmers.
Look at these elegant nails. I really am a huge fan of the gold foil and blue leaf detailing on the clear nail.
Here’s another shorter nail look. The accent nail has a bit of white, gold and blue brush-like detailing on the edge of the nail. Everything looks clean and pretty.
These look absolutely ethereal. The base is a mixture of blue and purple and I’m in love with the small sparkles which resemble stars and the large gold foiling that look like celestial bodies.
Back to something a bit more classy. The gold crystal and gold butterfly elevate this otherwise simple look.
We have a lot more designs going on this one. A full blue with a Swarovski crystal detail, some gradient marble, and my favorite are the pink and blue reflective glitter chunks and the tiny initials on the bottom.
A different take on the yin-yang design. In this one, the yin side is replaced with a dark blue instead of the traditional black and makes up for almost the entire nail.
I’m starting to like the matte-like shimmer look. For this set, most of the nails have a blue shimmer tip on top of a nude glossy base. The point where two fingers meet is topped with beautiful Swarovski crystals which form a beautiful butterfly when joined together.
Take a look at this stamped nail art. I love the matte navy blue with gold accents but I just like this design in general. You might want to take a look at the moon and star nail art list if this stands out to you.
*Internally screaming!* These are my favorite nails in the collection so far. Look at how beautiful the pink to blue gradient is! I love the shade of pink that they used, it’s a mixture between a warm rosy pink and a cool-toned light peach. The best part of the nails is the hologram-like accent. I wonder if the base nail was made with a sheer blue gel.
This look is definitely something you can pull off for New Year’s. The matte blue goes perfectly well with the full, very opaque silver glitter.
Are my pink and blue enthusiasts present? Look at the beautiful flower detailing on top of the pink ombre base. The blue, pink, and white crystals on the clear base add a perfect touch.
This set reminds me of picking out seashells by the ocean.
Some more pieces of the sky to go on your nails.
A nice little navy blue ombre. I love how the use of blue was very subtle.
A mix of our classic long navy blue tips with some abstract waves. The light blue accent on the waves provides a little more contrast and dimension to it.
This set is a mixture of three designs. We have a full deep blue, a full silver shimmer, and our beautiful blue and white swirls. The swirls remind me of how the ocean waves crash onto the rocks and produce a nice white foam. I can see a little bit of light sparkle on there too.
Navy blue is going tropical! Peep the pink and white accents topped off with a nice little palm outline.
A beautiful round-tip navy blue with the perfect amount of shimmer.
A lot of gloss blue and a bit of rose gold and you’ve got yourself a beautiful set. Possibly something to enter the New Year’s with?
Now, these nails are a combination of everything I’ve loved in this collection so far. A beautiful gloss blue, a night deeper blue with gold sparkle that resembles the night sky, and a nice little marble with some painted on sparkles.
Try out this fancy yet stylish set. I love how everything went together well, especially since the simple designs were mixed in with a nice opaque blue glitter.
This is another mystical matte set. The beauty in this set is the use of matte silver and violet in creating intricate designs. This makes me feel like I’m deep into a very colorful forest.
The perfect mix of blue, white, and gold. A nice reminder of the night sky with passing clouds.
This is one sharp set. I’m quite intrigued at how such a deep blue matte can seem like it has a hint of chrome.
Here’s a more playful design! Is anyone here a fan of Elmo and his cookies?
Maybe something to commemorate the first snow of the year? Look at this beautiful blue, purple, pink, and teal nail base.
These nails remind me of a nice little coffee bean.
I personally love the blue and white detail with the light sparkles on top, it looks just like the ocean meeting the white sand. The white speckled topper on the deep blue base offers a nice touch too.
For all my simple and natural ladies out there, try out these accented blue nails. All you need are two contrasting shades of blue and a few abstract waves.
Ending this collection with this absolutely exquisite set. The rose gold meeting with the marbled blue and white topped off with white gold foil looks so rich and luxurious. I dream of the day I finally get this set!
