These yellow nail design ideas are possibly my favorite inspiration collection we’ve done so far. That might be partly because I love the color yellow (so I’m a little biased) but for nails, I think it’s a great way to show a unique and fun style. Not too vivid (like flame nail designs for example) and they won’t look out of place at the office or the bar.
Hopefully, these nail design photos give you some inspiration.
I always love daisy designs on nails and the fact they have a little bit of yellow, makes them such a nice combination with the other two yellow nails. Simple and playful. Love it.
If you want something with a… little more detail check these out. Lovely deep yellow with some stunning detail.
Yellow and metallic gold nail design. A match made in heaven?
These natural nails aren’t completely yellow but just a little hint with these black lines to highlight them. Love it.
Yellow nail acrylics with some cool forest style on the middle.
I really like the little flowery extra design on these yellow nails.
Gradient yellow nail design.
These gel yellows with some cool detail on half of them.
The little Minion design on these yellow nails? Because I’m happy ! I’m completely addicted to Minion nail art and they’re almost all a happy shade of yellow.
I love that little white butterfly nail. It would look great but surrounded by the yellow it really pops.
I love yellow nails, I love bees and I really love that honey style on the index finger. Fab design.
Not a bee fan? How about these pierced nails with a yellow cheese design?
Or, keep it simple.
A nail design for those with a sweet tooth? I love the lollypop.
I love the bright yellow with that one glitter drop nail. As if bright yellow nails didn’t pop out enough!
Seeing a real trend with the white and yellow nails. They just suit so nicely.
Another trend is this daisy design alongside the yellow nails.
I could probably fill this entire list with minions nail designs but… this one has a banana design too.
If a white nail isn’t your thing, how about a metallic silver and gold?
I really love the blending from the green to yellow here.
A little bit of subtle extra on the ring finger there. Plus I love this deep shade.
Some great detail on these white and yellow nails. I love them, I certainly couldn’t manage that on my own nails.
What is it with yellow nail designs and insane detail? I love these but I’d be scared to wear them in case I scratched them.
Oh, these just make me so happy! Simple but playful!
Simple yellow nails with a little definition from green rhinestones on the cuticle.
Red and neon yellow nail design. I love the asymmetry here.
This deep yellow nail lacquer with golden flakes. It’s just style in a bottle.
The black dots really highlight the yellows nicely.
We’re seeing a lot of this thin framed nail design lately (and I’m totally here for it). A great example of how some simple yellow lines and a little polish can make a fantastic finished look.
Some slightly curved micro Frenchies with this lovely light shade. The glossy finish just perfectly pushes this over the edge. ??
The flanking yellow French tips are great looking by themselves but these middle flower nail designs just push things over the edge. Hand painted florals and custom mixed colors create a real unique and playful look.
Whether you like the minimalist style, or maybe you’re just running out of yellow polish? These slight minimalist dots up my the moon of the nail looks great. Super subtle and it really works on short square nails for a little extra elegance.
Swirl nail art is on trend right now but what really pushes this over the top is the three different pastel nail polish colors used. I would love these smooth curves enough but alternating the shades just adds something a little… extra.
Why is this not more of a thing? How have we not looked at duck nail art before? How have I not got this on my nails right now?
Keeping it simple with a lighter shade. You might miss it if you’re not looking closely but there is some subtle use of glitter in the polish here too.
I love the two different French tips on the index and middle finger. Not a style we see often but I’m absolutely here for it. A unique design and a great look. ?
Breaking away from the solid yellow nail design for a moment but this still counts. Some light shades and a different accent nail on each hand as a statement piece.
Or we could go the exact opposite way and use a yellow nail as the accent nail itself. Maybe not exactly what you were planning but worth keeping in mind.
Or how about some nude nail background with a playful hint of yellow on each finger?
A light shade of yellow is a fun design normally but adding some of this polka dot nail design to the moon of the nail is a nice touch. Giving me some definite Spring vibes but I would wear these year-round.
This is it. This is my favorite. I need this set in my life. One hand has natural nails with a thin yellow French tip while the other has this matte white to yellow ombre style. If you can’t pick between the two, go with both!
The accent nail design is fantastic. Solid yellows for most of the set and this incredible artistic design against matte white.
A little bit of everything in this set. We’ve got solid yellow nails (of course) and a micro French nail with black (great colorway). Another take on the framing and this animal print nail art which is on-trend and really suits the colorway.
What happens if you take some yellow almonds and apply some red style? This incredible marble look.
If your morning coffee doesn’t bring a smile to your face, this fantastic nail set will. Smiley face nail art is always cute but it really works with these classic colors.
I love the mix of glossy and matte finishes here. I’m surprised we don’t see this style more often but I’m here for it. The speckles are a nice touch to really highlight the matte look.
Similar style with this matte yellow with speckled black. I can’t pick between this and the solid yellow.
Again we have a mix of solid yellows and small French tips. The simple flower design is a niche touch as an accent nail.
A slight bit of leaf nail designs in white really takes a simple yellow polish and makes it a style piece. It doesn’t take much to create something with a unique look like this.
We’ve seen some similar looks like this but this time we have some square French tips. This will be a personal taste but square tips and medium-size nails are definitely becoming more common.
I know we’ve covered a lot of neon yellow nails already (developing an obsession in the process) but come on. A glossy finish with a neon tip, these can’t go unnoticed.
Some longer yellow acrylics with these holographic designs to really make them pop. Works really well with the bright shade.
I am loving this yellow and black colorway we’ve seen a few times. Here we see this duo color style done a couple of ways.
A longer stiletto looks stunning with a mix between solids and French tips.
A fantastic hand-painted sunflower design split between two nails. A great look and I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of this style so far.
Most of this inspiration list is brighter shades but you don’t have to use vivid colors. This darker style might work better for the office or some outfits but the little flowers are a nice touch. ?
Some glossy yellow nails with this unique natural nail with a French tip for an accent. Sometimes adding nothing as an accent is a defining look in itself.
If longer nails are your style this set gives you a mix of looks and this fantastic accent nail to boot. I love the mix of square and stiletto nails.
I’ve seen a couple of different variations of this style. A single animal print strip down the middle makes a really fantastic look and another excuse for this black and yellow color style.
A different take with this animal print strip, this time we’ve got bored of straight lines. A summer yellow polish with orange undertones
Short yellow set with glitter ombré and an encapsulated flower. ✨ I’m loving the size and style of the nails themselves.
A custom yellow marble set to match the kicks. ? I’m always happy to see someone else match their nail color to their shoes.
These fun-looking almond nails have a unique take on the ‘traditional’ swirl by breaking up the solid color into this broken style. I’m loving it.
A subtle and minimalist flash of style.
